Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN, working as anchor for SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She was hired by ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In this role she was given the chance to collaborate with national program producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In 2009, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated away from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent for KNVO TV 48 Univision. The stories she covered were about immigration and drug trafficking throughout Texas and Mexico. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was also frequently demanded. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's affiliate station in Dallas. In that station, she was given greater duties. She covered all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. They eventually moved towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. There is also an older sibling. In 1992 the family left Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. Within a brief time her father divorced from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. She stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer and was provided with an opportunity to work. Antonietta was a senior in high school but she was clear about the career she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right to her needs, Antonietta visited the campus. The campus was stunning as well as offered the level of education she was looking for. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to be confident and was deeply moved by his love of journalism.
