Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN, working as anchor for SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She was hired by ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In 2009, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated away from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent for KNVO TV 48 Univision. The stories she covered were about immigration and drug trafficking throughout Texas and Mexico. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was also frequently demanded.
